| | Bob, i think the best people to ask about the blood denotations is the
health office in your facilities they should know it for sure.
    good luck.

Thanks, but since I'm in a field office (NYO) we don't have a health office.
(If we get sick or hurt they throw us out onto 7th Ave! ;')

| | There is no corporate-wide blood group. Each site does it's own thing.
For some sites, that means nothing. For others that means multiple
    blood drives per year.

| | Digital does not draw blood - they sponsor the local chapter of the
American Red Cross to draw blood for their own purposes.

We may, however, be into blood letting, but certainly not "collecting".

As I said in .3, it's up to each individual site. In Dallas, we have
no association with the American Red Cross.

what association then does the testing for antibodies and such
on the blood drawn. I thought the ARC was used as a national clearing
    house.

| | Bob,

Last year someone had posters up in the elevator which requested
donations sponsored by the NY Knicks. Two free tickets and a shake
of the hand from Pat Reilly was the payment.

It took me a while to figure out that your reply wasn't meant for me.
There are 2 people named Bob participating in this discussion.

| | Yeah, I know all about the special drives and such. But you'd think that
DEC would have a blood group. Most large companies, as well as organizations
do. I like to give often, and it's a shame the Digital "family" couldn't
benefit.

| | I know that in MA Digital does have a blood group. If I was not able
to schedule a donation at a Digital site, I would go down to the Boston
Red Cross office near Fenway Park. When I filled in the donation form,
I put in DIGITAL as the group. The employees knew where/how to credit
    that donation.
