This was taken from the comp.os.vms newsgroup on usenet. It
looks like we either have a golden opportunity to generate
some service revenue, or haved missed said opportunity. Perhaps
someone who knows who this should go to in Field Service management
could pass it on?

There was a discussion about a year ago on this subject, and
I apologize for not having kept some of the recommendations. I am
for any recommendations regarding 3rd party service providers. We
are a national organization, so I cannot deal with local support outfits.

Field Service regularly is fending off 3rd party maintenance outfits making a
grab for our contract base... current efforts could best be described as
preservation tactics rather than agressively seeking new customers.
