Ultimate Entrepreneur" by Rifkin and Harrar. There might be a note in
    this conference about it earlier.

| | Re Livewire: The history listing consists of major events that happened since
1957 in this month only. To get a full list of "milestones", you must either
read it every month for a year or see if the Livewire folks can send you their
source material. The DEC_HISTORY notesfile is your best hope for history of
engineering in the U.K.

| | Digital libraries often have "vertical files" of information about
specific topics, or can do some quick research as needed. Good place
to start would be Maynard Area Information Services (MAIS), 223-2832 or
ASABET::LIBRARY. To see a list of DEC libraries or to search the
    shared catalog, try VTX DLNCATALOG.

| | Tricia, I just received my copy of "Digital at work, snapshots from
the first 35 years". You really ought to try to get a hold of a copy.
This will surely help with your presentation as there is quite a
    bit of great info.

There is a book which is not approved by DEC or KO called
"The Ultimate Entrepreneur" which would give you some insight
to the this company. (Glenn Rifkin and George Harrar "Thee
Ultimate Entrepreneur" 321pgs Contemporary Books, Chicago, New York.
copyright 1988. So you see there is a big time gap also.

| | Hi again,

Thanks everyone for all your help. Including those who replied by
mail. I have lots of information now and have the books mentioned on
order from the library, this should give me plenty for my report. It
has also given me another idea how to describe the "Dec experience" :
    The power of Notes !

    Thanks again.

    Tricia
