I have a friend who works for DEC that has gathered up some hardware
including a GPX for the charitable organization. He was wondering
how to go about getting VMS and maybe some other VAX/VMS products
donated from DEC. Does anybody know what the procedure is or who
he could call?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards, Dom

See VTX for the formal written policy (only a couple pages). The equipment has to be in DIAL for 3 months. Also, it has to be carried on the books at $0. There's a form that the non-profit has to sign.

Oh, you said software. I don't think it covers software. You could provide it yourself, but then maintenance, etc. could be a problem. Let us know what you find out.
