         Hans-Joachim Nowak leaves Digital
         
         
         Munich, 13.09.1991 - Hans-Joachim Nowak leaves Digital at the 
         end of the month after almost seven years as Financial 
         Director and Member of the Board of Directors of Digital 
         Equipment GmbH, as announced in a press release from the 
         German subsidiary.
         
         The 50-year-old finance expert, who experienced a growth in 
         turnover from approx. 650 million German marks to almost 2 
         billion marks and whose contribution in positioning the 
         company was substantial, asked the Board of Directors on 12th 
         September 1991 to be relieved of his duties.
