    A quick question please...
    
    I would like to get some information on the "Quality Circles" or
    whatever they may be called that Digital is currently using at
    some of their sites.  I have seen information in regards to these
    circles for the HLO facitlity and I believe SHR.
                                       
    What I would like to obtain are contact names of people who have
    formed these or manage them currently.
    
    I have an interest in forming something like this (possibly)
    between a couple of groups.
    
    Any and all information would be helpful.

	You might also contact Bruce Dillingham. Bruce has a "new ventures" group of consultants who provide O.D. consulting both within and outside of Digital. I believe that their background is from Mfg where the actually participated in projects such as the Enfield experiment. Tim B.

	Speaking of quality, a comment was made that "fear lowers quality." That is, if an employee is subject to a bureaucratic management style where number metrics and personal interests of the manager come first before the company, customer satisfaction and doing what's right, then does not the typical employee down the ladder in fact lower quality rather than speak up, saying, "I have a better idea" or "this isn't right" to ensure that quality as it affects customer satisfaction and better internal cooperation and harmony comes FIRST and FOREMOST?
