    PLEASE BE-WARE, when getting information about Disneyland from the
    east coast; I am located on the east Coast and when making a trip
    to Disneyland I requested information for Disneyland from the Mill
    site and all I got was information about DisneyWorld in Florida
    and activities around such. I then got on the phone and call the
    Dec office in L.A and they sent me all types of info on the Area
    (places to stay and sights to see). There is a big difference
    in Disneyland and DisneyWorld.

| 893.8 | Better Discounts Can Be Had. | DIEGO::DECF_11 |  | Tue Aug 29 1989 16:49 | 14 |
| | I just finished a two week training period in Irvine (LA area).
    I got the discount cards for Disney, Queen Mary, Knotts Berry Farm,
    etc. but I found that if I checked in the local hotel there were
    promotional discount advertisements that gave a BETTER discount.
    I.E. For the Quenn Mary the discount card that I got from the DEC
    program gave a 10% discount (about $1.90 per person). The coupon
    that I got in the hotel gave a $3.00 per person (up to 10 per coupon).

    Also, some of the attractions have discount coupons for other
    attractions on their information brochure that you get when you
    enter the first. I.E. Knotts Berry Farm had coupon for Sea World
    and San Diego Zoo.
