| 726.1 | PLEASE don't delete the base note | CVG::THOMPSON | Notes? What's Notes? | Tue Feb 14 1989 09:51 | 14 |
| | I'd try asking in one of these conferences which have a much
    	higher likelyhood of attracting the people you are interested
    	in.

RS/1                            DCC::RS1                                 1147
RS/1 Tips                       MEDUSA::RS1TIPS                          1550

    	I'd like to suggest that people first look in either
    TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES (a VAX Notes Conference) or
    ANCHOR::NET$LIBRARY:EASYNOTES.LIS (an ASCII test file list)
    for conferences related to spicific tools, applications, and
    issues.

| 726.3 | Sorry, but... | SETH::CHERSON | straight, no filter please | Tue Feb 14 1989 13:01 | 5 |
| | I'm sorry that I had to come here, but I went through the listing
    of notesfile on VTX and did not find any connected to RS/1. This
    notesfile seemed a logical place to ask the question.

| 726.4 | For the future, try ANYWAY::ASKENET for general Q&A | DR::BLINN | Wherever you go, there you are | Tue Feb 14 1989 17:07 | 12 |
| | Perhaps you didn't look carefully. However, I can understand
        how you might overlook it. Using the SEARCH utility or the
        "find" facility in a text editor on the EASYNOTES.LIS file
        is often better at spotting things than the old human eyeball,
        and would surely have found the RS/1 conference.

        Even so, it would be more appropriate to ask such a question
        in ANYWAY::ASKENET, the general Q&A conference, than here,
        or to have asked in TURRIS::EASYNET_CONFERENCES whether there
        is an RS/1 conference.

    David,

    	RS1 is run on several VAX's in HLO. The reliability organization
    	in HLO could give you more information.

    	It's also run on two vaxes in LMO (Marlboro).
