| | could it be a local badge number? When I worked in Canada, I
had two badge numbers - a "Maynard" badge # and a Canadian
badge number. The Canadian badge number was a four digit number...

| | I noticed that the people from Clomeau (Ireland) have two letters
    before their badge number, though I don't remember if they had
    a four-digit number or six....

| | While we're on the subject, does anyone know why some people have
    an 'A' following their badge number?

| 203.4 | "A" AFTER BADGE NUMBER- | NEWVAX::FILER |  | Tue Oct 21 1986 16:41 | 4 |
| | THE LETTER FOLLOWING THE BADGE NUMBER INDICATES THAT IT IS A REPLACMENT
    FOR A LOST/STOLEN BADGE."A" INDICATES SECOND BADGE, "B" THIRD BADGE.
    IT SEAMS THAT THE LETTERS STARTED OVER AGAIN WITH THE NEW PICTURE
    BADGES.

    Ah, but he hasn't lost any in months and months! :-)
    Okay, if he has the record--how many is it?

| | When Gordon worked for DEC he still had his original little black and white
badge (did in 1982 when I was last in a meeting with him).
