This is an extract from HUMAN::IDEAS, posted here to have the philosophical
aspect of the idea discussed here rather than in IDEAS more dedicated
   to technical discussions.

                        -< Enhance human relationship >-
   Communication

   How to communicate better?

Easy: let us start a campain to promote VAX Notes within DEC.

And tell 'them' to look at EXIT26::ASKENET_V2 daily. When the
network power is realized, we will have contributed to a great
human relationship enhancement between all of us.

   Right?

| You're onto something, Didier. It would be awsome to know that
there was a single conference that every employee looks at at least
    once a day.

I think it is becoming clear that as Notes are used more and
more, the way that people express themself through text is getting
better and better. We are in effect enhancing our collective language
through considered iterations by hundreds of people a day. The
community that is developing was technologicaly impossible just
a few years ago, and is now beginning to show some startling benefits.
As communication increases, we evolve as human beings, and Digital
    evolves as a company.

    	Ed

| Re .1 and "It would be awsome [sic] to know that there
was a single conference that every employee looks at at
least once a day" - there are too many people who still
don't/can't/won't use a terminal for anything at all, let
        alone VAX Notes.

And I'm talking about managers as well as employees that
don't routinely have access to terminals/systems (janitorial,
        some manufacturing, and so on).

Re .0 - ASKENET_V2 is now RAINBW::ASKENET. Note the name
        change.

| There are also some people who can't get to VAX Notes (where ACLs
etc are used to "control" this facility).
