Hi,
I've been in contact with the people from Software Generation :
"The AION Ditributor"
The product they're distributing is ADS, the famous IBM and PC shell,
which is available now on VMS.
We discussed local cooperation (Software Generation <-> Digital Belgium)
and went through a product demo.
the demo left a good impression :
the nearest competitor of ADS is KBMS,
but imho ADS is much richer than KBMS :
- easier development environment (although no mouse-support yet)
- more flexibility in rules
- very good object-oriented approach
- impressive text-generating possibilities
They showed me a letter which says they have the CSH status.
Does anyone have experience with the product?
Is there an offical status?
Maybe a good candidate for a mini-training at the next AI-CC meeting (when?)
