Note the availability of an impressive and simple to run handwriting
recognition demo, developed as part of a bid to read AMEX slips by
people in Ed. Killeens (Terry Potters) group.
There are kits for both VMS and RISC.
There is a discussion of this system in note 870.* of the conference
VISUAL::IMAGING.
Note that the kit is actually in
LEARN1::SYS$PUBLIC:[KITS],
not in the directory specified in the conference.

This is great stuff! However, it does run not RISC (memory fault after everything I did; DECstation-3100, UWS-2.2). On VMS, the examples work but I get ACCVIO's after scanning my own ddform | |||||
