 There is a new notesfile titled SELECT::EMBEDDED_AI. It is quite new, but I 
think worth keeping an eye on. Press Keypad 7 (or Select) to add the entry to
your current class.

		Welcome to the EMBEDDED AI conference!!
		***************************************

     This notes file has been established to share information
     about how Digital is embedding artificial intelligence
     technology in its products (hardware, software) and services.
     Many notes files exist already to discuss AI technology and
     the issues surrounding it.  So how does this one differ?
     I'm glad you asked!

     Consider it a repository of projects, contacts, and current 
     AI activity within Digital (places where AI is being used
     to enhance Digital products/platforms).  The AI Technology
     Center Business Plan includes Embedding Expert Systems
     as one of its programs.  This notes file was created to 
     support that program.

     Guidelines:

	1. Each note should be a separate project/activity
           and should be identified clearly in the title.

	2. The first note should be an identification of
	   of the project (by name if possible), contact
	   (person and/or group), and description.  Please
	   include operating system (anybody using Ultrix?)
	   and other software being utilized.

	3. Be as specific or a short as you like in the 
	   replies.
