Hi,

   I have a system ALPHASERVER 1000 5/300 (firmware 3.9) the custumer need a version 
 UNIX 3.2d on it. I try to install UNIX 3.2 d the system crashed -> machine check type
 0x670, I try to install UNIX 3.2 g  the system halt with message -> Processor type is 
 not configured or not supported , only UNIX 4.0b works fine.
 The SPD of UNIX OPERATING SYSTEM seems to confirm that ALPHASERVEUR 1000 5/300 is not 
 supported under 3.2 d and 3.2 g. 
 Could you acknowledge what is above .

    AS1000 5/300 supports V3.2G.  You said firmware 3.9, do you mean 3.9
    CD, right.   If you have SRM 3.9, that is too old for AS1000 5/300.

      I also see the V3.2F is also supported for the as1000 5/300 platform.
