    I am looking for information on how the 1000a does PCI arbitration both
    for slots before and after the bridge.
    
    Also how could one get the 1000a system specification, they are
    available for most workstation in there notes conference but I havn't
    seen any sign of them for mikasa or noritake.

    The PCI bus arbitration is Round-robin on both the primary and
    secondary PCI buses.
    
    The hardware spec is given out on a need-to-know basis, please
    send mail to me (wrksys::hesch) with a short justification. Most
    everything is in the public service guide and/or the owners manual.
    
    Part of the reason the harwdare spec is not made public is that it
    is also not always updated. In the AS1000A case the spec was for the
    4/266 CPU and the base spec has not been updated for the 5/xxx CPUs.
    There are supplemental additions for these. Again, you will be better
    off using the service guide or the owner's manual for data. If you have
