New computer has Console FirmWare V4.7-169
OpenVMS from 'old' disk has PADRIVER from 26. Apr. 96 X61Q-SSB-1F00
>>> show conf doesn't display card and device PAA0: is shown by
OpenVMS in offline.
Which driver/firmware versions are necessary to correct those problems ?

| 795.5 | did you run ECU? | WRKSYS::LAU |  | Mon Mar 10 1997 18:52 | 12 |
| | It seems you didnot run ecu to configure the KFESA after you upgrade
    you Mikasa (AS1000) to Noritake (AS1000A).

    After you run ECU to add KFESA and power off/on the system, you will
    see the
    device with >>> sh config command.

    The console FW V4.7-169 is the right version.

| 795.6 | I DID it | COL01::VSEMUSCHIN | Duck and Recover ! | Tue Mar 11 1997 08:55 | 20 |
| | Re .5, Sorry for my unclear note (.4)
I did run ECU many times. This computer has DSSI Id 7 and 7 is default ID.
So I used to set DSSI ID to 0 (0 was free ID) and when I called ECU next
time (after the power-cycle ) I saw that DSSI ID was set to 0. Thus
I concluded that ECU worked OK. ECU Disks were both 1.10 and 1.8.
But anytime after the power cycle as well as after the init command I
saw thet KFESA is listed among other adapters in self test and then not
shown in show config output.
I tested it with 2 different KFESA cards.
Operation system is OpenVMS v6.2-1H3 and now I'm about to get the PADRIVER
from Mike, since the only version I found in TIMA Tools was for 6.1
Regards,
Seva
