GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The VAX Computer Aided Manufacturing Process System is a paperless
system for creating, viewing, and tracking manufacturing process
information. It is particulary useful for working with manufacturing
document, such as process sheets, inspection check lists, test
procedures, and audit procedures. In addition, it can create
DEC standard 115 hardcopy output for manufacturing document.
VAXcamps creates a secure environment for document version control
and provides consistent tools for engineers to create, edit,
approve, and view manufacturing process documents. Manufacturing
operators can use VAXcapms to access current manufacturing
process information, including graphics , from terminals on
the production floor.
