    Can someone tell me what's the meaning of receiving the message of 
    mcc_evc_send from DECmcc ?  Is it a error message or not ?

	Anthony, This is a program that enables you to do some "non-network" type alarming... It's been ages since I used it, but you might want to check the MCC documentation on alarming and notification.... there's a piece in there on how to utilize this program. I used it with the Script AM (I think?) and I setup alarms from a PDP11 that ran this program and fired alarms if a SHOW SYS type of a function didn't work correctly... You might find notes earlier in this conference that might be more helpful. good luck, /Mic
