Hi all,
I have got a customer issue wich involves the bridge acces module.
He was previously using ELMS for bridge management, but now he is using
MCC and its bridge acces module.
The question is: How can we set the manual switch filter to "true" into
a lanbridge 200 with DECmcc ?
With ELMS you can perform that as follow:
ELMS> USE DUMMY
ELMS> SET MANUAL FILTER SWITCH {TRUE }
{FALSE}
I have checked in the documentation of the bridge access module and was
not able to find this attribute in the "Bridge Characteristics
Attributes" list.
Could somebody help me to find a workaround or better a fix ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all ,
Finally I found it with some difficulties because it is not a "SET"
command but a "RESET" command on the forwarding database:
MCC> RESET BRIDGE .BR.LB200_NSG FORWAR DATAB MANUAL MODE TRUE
Bridge LOCAL_NS:.br.lb200_nsg Forwarding Database
AT 22-DEC-1994 18:04:34
Entity successfully reset.
MCC>
MCC> SH BRIDGE .BR.LB200_NSG FORWAR DATAB ALL ATTR
Bridge LOCAL_NS:.br.lb200_nsg Forwarding Database
AT 22-DEC-1994 18:01:18 All Attributes
Current Forwarding Entries = 20 Entries
Current Nonvolatile Forwarding Entries = 0 Entries
Inactive Forwarding Entries = 1
Counter Creation Time = 22-DEC-1994 16:46:52.06
Time Since Purged = 509 Seconds
Forwarding Entries Lost = 0 Entries
Maximum Forwarding Entries = 15871 Entries
Maximum Nonvolatile Forwarding Entries = 400 Entries
Normal Entry Aging Time = 120 Seconds
Short Entry Aging Time = 30 Seconds
Purge Threshold = 15614
Manual Mode = True
Merry Christmas.
