	having looked already through the MCC_TOOLS, COMMON-AGENT and this
	conference without success, I hope someone can give me a pointer
	to this manual.

	Thomas, There is no such document named : POLYCENTER Framework Management Specification Language and Data Type However, in the POLYCENTER Framework System Reference Manual, there is a description of the Management Specification Language (chapter 7) and of the datatypes supported by the framework (chapter 9). This manual is not available on-line as Postscript. It is available either as hard-copy along with the Framework doc set, or as bookreader. If you are interested by the bookreader version, there is one in TAEC::EMA$PUBLIC:[DOC.V13]SRM_V12.DECW$BOOK The SRM was not changed between V1.2 and V1.3. There might be also other locations, but I don't know the pointers. Best regards, Marc. PS: don't make note title too long. 	Sorry for the long title, I'm using the DECwindows interface of notes. I found this title in the POLYCENTER Common Agent Managed Object Module Developer's Guide as Associated Document. I need a hardcopy of this manual; can you perhaps give me the order number of this manual? Thanks for the reply Thomas.

	Thomas, The System Reference Manual (SRM) is 1 volume in bookreader, but 2 volumes in hard-copy, which is the main reason why it is not available as on-line ps. The order number that shows up on the front page of the docs are : DECmcc System Reference Manual V1.2 vol 1 : AA-PD5LC-TE DECmcc System Reference Manual V1.2 vol 2 : AA-PE55C-TE Chapters 7 and 9 are part of volume 1.
