Problem:
A customer run DECmcc on a server. He use a display station, also Motif
Version 1.1-3, to work with DECmcc.
He can start MCC -> no problem
He can open the "Operations" window -> no problem
He can do "show status" -> no problem
on this "show status" window he use "start" -> no problem
" " " " " " " "close" -> DECmcc hungs !!
The "mcc_iconic_map" process starts computing and use 80-85 % of the CPU
power. All windows are blocked. The only way to exit ist to kill the
"mcc_iconic_map" process.

Hmmm, sounds strange. Could be a resource problem somewhere. I run exactly the same config here without problems. Anyway, you could try the new Iconic Map and see if it helps. Get it from BIKINI::MCC_DISK:[BMS013.ULTRIX.PATCH]MCC_ICONIC_MAP_PM.EXE-MIPS Put it on '/usr/mcc/mmexe/mcc_iconic_map_pm' and 'chmod 755'. *Robert | |||||
