We have just set up a new MCC installation and have configured using MIR for the MCC_DNS_SECTION. When we try to register a bridge we get the following message. Partial registration success. Please retry later to complete the registration. Reason for Partial Registration = Management protocol error. Subsequent registration tries result in the same message. Can anyone give me a clue on what this problem is? Thanks alot for your help.

The system is failing to communicate with your bridge during the registration process. Does an interactive show command work for that bridge? What kind of bridge is it? -- Erik | |||||

Usually you will get a "Protocol in use" error if the old RBMS
management code or DECelms has reserved the protocol exclusively, but I
seem to recall getting the same error you did on occasion.
You might also check out the ELM_AM to be sure it is enrolled. Run the
startup procedure.
