Has anyone had a problem while running the notes client somewhere other
than on TOOK?

Yes, I think it's the new NOTES protocol.

it is says 'New protocol 2/6'.

| I'm going to post a note in 2HOT::VAXNOTES_BUGS on this... I looked but
did not find anything that looks like this problem.
My VAXnotes NOTES$SHARE image is 'NOTES023'.

| All the notesfiles hosted on NOTED seem to be suffering from this. The
longest discussion I know of is in the ULTRIX conference.
