Are there any firmware level restrictions for lanbridge 150 and the
bridge AM.
I have a customer who has two problems with Bridge AM 1.3:-
1. A "show bridge Bridge_name all status" on one bridge gives "device
broken - operational Firmware failure"
I,ve looked in the spd etc but can't find any mention of minimum
firmware levels for lanbridge 150. The bridge has S/W version 1.3 and
rev d01.
Can anyone suggest an explanation?
2. Another lanbridge 150 registration fails with "communication with
the target has been interupted".
A test bridge is successful - the rev on this one is E101.
Any help appreciated,
Regards,
Jon

I'm not sure if there are any firmware restrictions with the
LANbridge 150, but I'll send your note to the product maintaininer.

| 5044.2 | Firmware resolved - Registration? | KERNEL::WARDJO | Thu May 13 1993 11:47 | 15 | |
Bob,
Thanks for the response,
I think I've resolved the firmware problem - there is an upgrade but
the situation should not effect the operation of the bridge.
Can anyone explain what would cause the registration failure - The
customer disconnected the registered bridge and they could then
register the other bridge.
Seems odd to me.
