    I have recently done an upgrade to 1.3 and ran across this error.  It
    is the same one I got when I accidentally tried to fire up MCC1.2 under
    Motif.  I fear I'm missing something rediculously obvious but can't
    think what and this message is not in the messages book I have for 1.3. 
    
    Can anyone shed some light on this?
