Has anyone heard of any problems with the MCC_MAPS logical. I have a
specialist that is running MCC 1.3. When he does a SAVE MAP it states
that it CAN'T OPEN THE MAP FILE and the MAP wasn't saved. They took
away the SYS$DISK:[] and left MCC_COMMON and now it works fine. What
am I missing here?

Is the directory pointed to by sys$disk:[] writable? Check the protections. Verna | |||||

My reccomendation is to always define mcc_maps to be a specific
directory and never leave it as supplied on the kit (which writes
to wherever you happen to be Set Default to).
If you don't nail it down in the system startups cause you may have
multiple users then for sure nail it down in the login.com file.
