My customer operates a global public data network built using
equipment from many manufacturers. As a result they currently have
many management systems and no integrated alarm handling. They are now
seeking a supplier for a management system to sit above their vendor
specific systems and are considering DECmcc/TeMIP. A key decision
criteria is having the interfaces to the vendor specific management
systems.
Their main equipments are:
Northern Telecom DPN100
Netrix
Newbridge
Octocom modems (these have a management systems based on the
PC Windows version of Openview)
What is the current status of our interfaces to the management
systems from these vendors?
