    Hello,

Is there a limit to the number of required arguments which can be
    associated with a directive ?

We found that a directive with 8 required arguments failed the Iconic
Map validation test. If we changed two of these arguments to
REQUIRED=FALSE, but still filled them in, they passed ok.

Note: the arguments which caused the problem were of constructed
    datatype.

    Thanks,

    hR.

| There is no limit to the number of required arguments in the Iconic Map.
Can you do the following:
	1. Try the same directive in the FCL - does it work there.
	2. Could you describe more fully those required arguments which are
	   failing.
	3. If you have only one required argument for the directive (and it
is one of the two that fail), does it still fail.
	4. What version of DECmcc are you using, and on VMS or on Ultrix?
Thanks,
Verna
