My customer bought and installed DECMCC BMS V1.1. He has just installed DECMCC BMS V1.2 that comes with no longer the Bridge A.M. I think that there is a policy to allow previous DECMCC BMS customer to still have this A.M. for DECMCC BMS versions greater or equal than 1.2 . What is this mechanism ? What do i have to do ? What does my customer have to do ? How to order/receive DOC/KIT/PAK ? Regards, Bernard

Hi Bernard,
For DECmcc/BMS V1.2 platform, BRIDGE AM is now a component of DECmcc/ELM AM
for VMS (I suppose you work on a VMS platform...).
This package has to be bought additionally, with DOCs, PAKs (for VMS) and Hkit.
ELM AM contains :
. BRIDGE AM
. CONCENTRATOR AM
. FDDI-STATION AM
You can also use the ELM FM (it also an additional package...), which
contains :
. STM FM
. PA FM (new image)
. FDDI-STATION FM
You can refer to Network Buyer's Guide, Section 8, for more details.
Regards,
Renato
PS : Maybe you've also noticed that SNMP/TCPIP AM is included in the
DECmcc/BMS V1.2 kit (it was not the case in DECmcc/BMS V1.1 kit)...
