The following very strange behaviour happens when on the ICONIC MAP
I expand my director into all its child entities:
I get a lot of child entities, but there are also a lot of child entities
which are not found. In BMS V1.2 I got informational messages in separate
windows. Since I installed BMS V1.2.3 I get no informational messages
any more.
The messages from BMS V1.2 were the following:
Look Into Entity MCC DECTOWN:BRSCOM_DIRECTOR BRIDGE_AM
The requested operation cannot be completed
MCC Unhandled Service Reply : No such entity: Domain
DECTOWN:.Dectown Member *
Domain DECTOWN:.Dectown
Member *
I get that same error for all the folowing child entities:
BRIDGE_AM
TERMSERVER_AM
CIRCUIT_AM
FDDI_AM
FDDI_FM
STM_FM
CONC_AM
SNA_AM
SNA_Server
SNA_Agent
The strange thing is that a lot of BMS and additional modules are shown
correctly as:
ALARMS
HISTORIAM_FM
DNA4_AM
ETHERNET_AM
SAMPLE_AM
DNA5_AM
REGISTRATION_FM
FCL
TCPIP_AM
ICONICMAP
EXPORTER_FM
NOTIFICATION_FM
DOMAIN_FM
PA
GAB_AM
COLLECTION_AM
TCPIP_DA_FM
REFERENCE_FM
ONLINE_AM
I also used the FCL_PM giving commands as
SHOW MCC 0 SNA_AGENT ALL ID
SHOW MCC 0 SNA_AGENT ALL CHAR
These commands works normally.
Most of the time its easy to find out why some problem happens,
but here I do not see any way to solve the problem.
does somebody see clarity in this problem ?
Dominique.

Hi, >The following very strange behaviour happens when on the ICONIC MAP >I expand my director into all its child entities: > >I get a lot of child entities, but there are also a lot of child entities >which are not found. In BMS V1.2 I got informational messages in separate >windows. Since I installed BMS V1.2.3 I get no informational messages >any more. I have exactly the same situation and the same errors and disappears. I was running V1.2, I installed V1.2.3 and installed the new SNA-AM. I re-enrolled all the stuff, did a total parse-table rebuild etc.. , but the problem is still there. The strange thing is when you look in the dictionary all the stuff (MCC child entities) is there. Is this a bug or a known feature ? ;-) Regards, /-/ Henk. | |||||
