Hello,
Reading the DECmcc MM programming guide (V1.2 revised),
I have noticed the following:
1) Section 4.5 Creating a DECmcc DEvelopper's dictionnary (Ultrix)
The command to do this indicates:
cp /usr/mcc/mmtoolkit/examples/mcc_dev_dictionary.dat \
mcc_dictionary.dat
Since the /usr/mcc/mcc_system /mcc_dictionnary.dat can only be moved by
the mcc_ndbm command, is the information about the toolkit dictionnary
correct ?
2) Example 4-1 : Callable DECmcc makefile
The example indicates a link the the mips_libcma*.a
Is this information still correct ?
Thanks to answer
Florence

You can in fact copy the dictionary file--it just wastes disk space.
We should point out that mcc_ndbm is the preferred method to use for
this reason.
The references to mips_libcma.a and mips_libcmalib.a are out-of-date.
You only need to link with /usr/libcma.a. The Sample and Example make
files have the link specified correctly.
These edits were qar'd.
