Did you receive unknown error code 58 or
Extra information was returned for <> : code = 58.
If the second is true, it probably means the MS is incorrect because attribute
with code 58 was returned in outp and should not have been.

|  |     Attribute #58 for bridge lines is Line Speed.  There are no
    restrictions on bridge type, so all bridge models should encode it.

|  |     Turns out the problem was the result of a bad transceiver (H4005) to
    which one of the ports was connected.  The bridge was accessible from
    the good side.
    
    It would have been nice if DECmcc could have found this.

Unfortunately, if the H4005 is bad, you usually can't talk to the
station hooked to it. Also, the H4005 is not manageble from software.
