Hi,

	Under DECmcc ULTRIX T1.2.4, I try to register a station entity
    (connected on a DECNET phase IV node). I did it as specified in the 
    Ethernet Acess Module Use documentation.
    I got some strange results and %MCC-E-ID802_ERROR error message. Is this a 
    known problem ?

Here is a log of this problem.

Terminal hangs and sometimes gives cma threads error messages. I have to 
CTRL/C to unlock the terminal.

I try to register it under the iconic map with address and alternate 
address. It does not work at all, the iconic map stays locked. I have to kill 
the process. The station is registered but without address ...

Deregister does not work ...
So what ???

    

    I have no idea what is causing the problem. But, I did retry it
    with our most recent kit without a problem (except I can't talk
    to your station). I don't know of any changes in the FCL processing
    of the ID802 datatype, but the message is definitly coming from
    the parsing routines (common to both PMs).

    I get the same problem, has this been fixed or is it still a problem 9

This is the reason for the QAR system.  There is no way
to track whether or not a problem reported only by note has been 
fixed or not, other than by trying the latest software and seeing
what happens.
