I have installed DECmcc (T1.2.4) in VMS.
When I try to execute the command manage /enterprise I get the following
messages:
%MCC-F-PTBINACC, parse tables inaccessible, unable to initialize FCL PM
%MCC-F-TRM_FAILURE, PM unable to continue
I have configured the following logical names:
"MCC_COMMON" = "IS_1:[MCC]"
"MCC_DNS_SELECTION" = "DNS"
"MCC_ICONS" = "IS_1:[MCC.MCC_ICONS]"
= "SGR$ICONS:"
"MCC_MAPS" = "IS_1:[MCC.MCC_MAPS]"
"MCC_NODE_IDP" = "49::"
"MCC_REPORTS_FILES" = "IS_1:[MCC.MCC_REPORTS_FILES]"
"MCC_SPECIFIC" = "SYS$SPECIFIC:[MCC]"
"MCC_SYSTEM" = "MCC_SPECIFIC"
= "MCC_COMMON"
"MCC_TDF" = "+1:00"
"MCC_UIL" = "IS_1:[MCC.MCC_UIL]"
Has anybody experienced the same problem?
Thanks for answers,
Angel.

Do you have a log of the instalation? Were there any errors?
What version of VMS are you using? Memory size etc? What CPU?
Do you have any of the VMS extensions loaded?

please check that the user account as read access to the mcc directory
and not just the files. When I install on our cluster that is the
number 1 problem I hit.

I have the same problem on our VS4000-60 where I've installed mcc
X1.2-15.
The system account works fine, but from any other account with all
privileges I can't startup mcc.
Message received:
$ manage/enterprise
DECmcc (X1.2.15)
%MCC-F-PTBINACC, parse tables inaccessible, unable to initialize FCL PM
%MCC-F-TRM_FAILURE, PM unable to continue
Any other suggestions?

Please read note 2559.11 -- They seem to have solved their similar problem
by increasng their working set quota.
Hope this helps...
