I am manually creating an alarm rule (vs using the iconic map) to
monitor the change in circuit_substate for two synch. ckts.
(syn-0 and syn-1) on a DECnet Router.
Question: Can I wildcard the circuit entity, ie circuit * vs circuit
syn-0
I am trying to eliminate having to create two seperate alarm rules
to monitor 2 ckts. on the same node.

I believe that Alarms supports child entity wildcards .. but not for the change-of function .. only for regular relational (x>y) type rules /keith | |||||
