A bug was discovered in the V1.1 SSB kit that required that we put
the kit on engineering hold. The bug has been fixed. A new kit will be
submitted to SSB this Thursday. The network kit will also be available
at that time.

| Is it necessary to reinstall the entire kit as well as update the
dictionary, parse and help files if we have alreay installed v1.1 of
the AM? Or is it possible just to extract and replace certain files
from the kit?

No, it is not necessary to update either the dictionary or parse tables
when the "new" SSB kit is installed if you've already installed the "old" SSB
kit.

| I have installed this new kit. There is still another problem
discussed in note 1687.* which must be resolved. I did not have the
problem mentioned in 1687.* in the pre-SSB released version. This must
be resolved!
I'm working a DNS problem at the present (corrupted namespace) which
has a higher priority, but I would like to see some action on this.
I am gathering additional info as time permits. Please let me know if
there is anything else you need.

You should talk with product management. Junell Silver has
already announced it is shipping from SSB. I think the date
was Nov 7th.

For Europe , the latest date I have from ESSB (European SSB)
for TCP/IP SNMP AM 1.1 is December 13 th ....
