I think a  BaseStar access module for DECmcc would be a profitable idea.

I believe DECmcc could be very successfully sold in manufacturing plants.
If an DECmcc access module for Basestar was written, a plant could manage
Programable controllers and computer networks on one Iconic screen.

DECmcc and Basestar cover similiar functions, but they manage different sets
of devices and protocols.  

DECmcc Ultrix is in field test now.  I do not know about BaseStar.
