I'm trying to installed DECmcc EMS V2.1 on a VMS5.3-1 system.
I feel that I've answered the questions correctly, but continue
to receive the following error. Could someone explain to me which
logical the installation is looking for.

Hi,
You will run into this error when you have CDD/Plus installed and try
to install the NMCC/DECnet Monitor component of DECmcc EMS V2.1.
To solve the problem, type the following command *before* performing
the installation:
$DEFINE/SYSTEM/EXEC CDD$DEFAULT CDD$TOP
The DECmcc EMS V2.1 release notes describe this problem and the
solution to it. Make sure you have read the release notes carefully
before preceding with the installation.
