When registering an LPS40 or an EWS worstation as a node4 you receive an
error which I attached below. It also deletes the object from the DNS
    database.
MCC> register node4 .apo.gclps syn gclps
Node4 ARTMCC_NS:.apo.gclps

Register does a number of directives to the node4 specified, requesting
identifiers and characteristics from the node4, and all of its lines
    and circuits.

Apparently one of these directives does not go forward as expected.

Thanks for the information, I'll enter it as a QAR, and we'll look into
it as soon as we can.

| Thanks Jim. I entered a QAR on it under Rod Rossmeisl's account. I'm
working with him on the field test.

    Thanks for your quick response.

I think the worst part is that it deletes the DNS object. Since these
objects may be created and maintained by other tools for other purposes,
having DECmcc delete the thing seems a bit unsocial.
