Hallo,
where can I find more details about the CMIP-support in the DECnet
Phase V AM concerning the underlying protocol stack and the CMIP
subset, which has been implemented.
Which other AM's use or will use/support CMIP in the near future ?
Is a general reusable CMIP-software module within the current
DECmcc-package available ?
Regards,
Paul

Is a general reusable CMIP-software module within the current
DECmcc-package available ?
Yes. Well, sort of. The DECmcc group is engaged in a
major "technology-sharing" effort and as a result a package
of CMIP routines that is widely used throughout the corporation
is available for use. In fact, we encourage using it to maintain
a consistent usage of CMIP as much as possible.
This is not heavily documented, or supported except through a
network of like-minded engineers that keep in relatively close
contact.
Send mail directly to Wally (TOOK::) Matthews for more information
about this package, and how to acquire it for your purposes.
He can help apply these routines to your requirements, or connect
you with the right people.
Wally's also a good choice for pursuing your other questions.
