| | Two notes...
	1. We'd appreciate our internal sites taking this kit and
giving it a good testing. We know the time and disruption it
takes to install any software, but its the feedback from our
internal sites that help us understand how the product will
work when our customers get their hands on it.
	2. If you are *really* using the V1.1 kit (Iconic Map and
Domains), don't install this kit. The current V1.1 kit won't
'layer' onto this new kit. A new V1.1 SYSTEM kit will be
available in 1-2 weeks which will be a full DECmcc system
(Exec, FCL, etc. PLUS PA, Historian, Export, Iconic Map,
	Domains, and DTR Reports).
Thanks for your help in shaking out the product.

| 279.3 | Protection & Documentation!! | CSC32::WOESTEMEYER | Why??...Why not!!! | Fri Aug 24 1990 17:56 | 3 |
| | When fixing the protections, how about also putting the documentation
that will be shipping with this release in the same directory. It sure
would be nice to have matching documention and software.

| | Sorry for the probably-stupid question, but:

    what is MCS?

    Thanks!

| | Well I'll give you an embrassed answer. It Was "Minimum Ship
Criteria" and someone transposed the last two letters, right?

| | actually I was told Minimum Customer Ship kit was where it
came from (also it was the acronym we used internally for classing
sources in CMS, which is REALLY where it comes from).

Like others, I thought it was a kit for some new Management Console System,
until I had a gander at it.
