I recently attended an MCC training seminar where a slide was shown asserting that EMA has been designed to inter-work with a number of supporting architectures. I wonder if anyone has access to architectural descriptions for the following architectures mentioned on an SMS slide dated March 1990; - Unique Identifier (UID) Architecture - Distributed Time Architecture - Naming Service Architecture (I have seen this but an on-line reference for posterity would be useful). - Remote Procedure Call Architecture (is this a little optimistic?) - Security Architecture - Accounting Architecture - Transaction Architecture (I think that this is the DDTA/DDTM stuff, again a reference to online copy would be wonderful). Thanks in advance, Chris.

| Most of those architectures are from various DNA (DECnet Phase V/OSI) specs. They are "on;ine" but not world readable in general. Check out FILES::EMA$:[Public]ReadMe.First pointers to DNA specs are in there. Mark | |||||
