Brief Description of Problem:
-----------------------------
Oliver wants to know how much on-board cache is in Pelican.
I suspect he'll want to know in general how to determine this information.

Olivier -- Sorry to be so long getting back to you. The DEC 3000 Model 300 systems have 8 KB of on-chip instructino cache and 8 KB of on-chip data cache. Both of these are direct mapped. In addition, it has 512 KB of on-board cache. I believe this is 3-way set associative. -- Chuck Newman | |||||
