    	Ok I'll admit it - I watched a talk show - hey - I'm sick - 
    overlook it :-) 
    
    	John Gray (Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus) was on and
    he made the statement - that as men get older - their testosterone
    level decreases and they become more tender/emotional.
    
    	I realize there are exceptions to any rule - but in general - guys
    do you think that's a true statement.  Do you feel that as you've
    gotten older you've changed and become more tender/emotional?

    That phenomena occurs in every culture according to
    those who have studied such things.
    
    Just as men become more tender/emotional and home bound
    women become more interested in the world and activities
    outside the home.  (I've seen major changes in my dad
    over the past 10 years.)
    
    I think it is complementary, as long as individuals 
    know what is happening to them.

	I wouldn't say more "tender and emotional". I would say
	"less of a walking hormone". (not completely mind you, just
	less.)

	I get a good laugh out of women my age who tell me that
	they don't know what's happening to themselves. I tell
	them "now you know what we went thru at 18-24". hehehe

    I know that I am more (openly) emotional and feeling. Of course, you
    sprinkle a little in a litte divorce, grown children, less shyness, etc
    Well you get the picture.

    	I concur with the other guys with dwindling testosterone levels.
    I'm definitely more feeling and emotional now than I was a few years
    ago, but I'm sure it has NOTHING to do with testosterone levels. How
    would one go about measuring this for cause and effect or any
    correlation? If it's measured by sex drive, then I must be getting
    testosterone supplements from someplace! I thought I heard once that
    bald men had either higher or lower testosterone levels (I forget
    which). Maybe some of you old bald guys have more data on this?
