Hi,
I have a customer who has an application that appears to require
more than twice the amount of virtual memory (pagefile twice as big)
than it does on either 6.1 or 7.1 OpenVMS Alpha systems.
At present I am waiting for more info from the customer but in the
meantime I was just wondering if anyone could say if there are any
known reasons for this. Generic comments are fine. I know the info so
far is very vague. Thanks for your help.
Regards

The sysgen parameter IMGREG_PAGES will result in an increase
in the virtual size of a process... It got quite the boost
after 6.2. I don't remember if this impacts pagefile requirements
though.
