:Who is the Product Manager for Alphaserver 300 and which conference
:discusses this product ?
:
:Cross-posted : Alphanotes, Mikasa, Alphastations
When asking these questions, please don't cross-post -- the contact
information for hardware platforms is almost always readily available
in the Integrated Repository (via the "VTX IR" command, or via the URL
   http://vtxgwy.imc.das.dec.com/cgi-bin/vtx).
 |
| | : I cross-posted because I was not sure where I can get an
: answer.
I'd suggest picking what appears to be the best spot for the question,
posting a note, and waiting a half or full day for an answer. If it's
more important than that, you probably should be using one of the formal
escalation or support channels, and not notes.
: BTW, I tried VTX IR but could not locate any
: menu which gives contacts for hardware platforms.
: Can you tell me under what head are these listed ????/
Enter VTX IR, select Products and Services (keyword PS; PS is often the
most apporpriate general category for hardware and software support
questions, as it covers the most likely search categories), then perform
both a title and a keyword search for a string such as `AlphaServer' or
`AlphaServer 300', and scroll down the list looking for articles...
There are several articles on this processor...
   1 23-Jan-97 AlphaServer 300 V96-2.4 SOHOMP
   2 23-Dec-96 System Configuration Handbook - AlphaServer 300 SW000X
   3 02-Dec-96 ALPHASERVER 300 SD00SN
   4 15-Nov-96 AlphaServer 300 4/266 Systems - CUS DP4103
   5 08-Nov-96 AlphaServer 300 4/266 Systems. SU4103
Here's information from the Service Delivery (SD) article:
	Product Management Contact
	Name Jeff Robie
	Group Lowend Server Group
	DTN 223-5210
	Email Address   MSBCS::ROBIE
	Product Services Manager
	Name Dennis Hillman
	DTN 276-8252
	Email Address   STOWOA::HILLMAN
(I'd recommend using both keyword and title searches together, as the
keywords are not always set up the way what one might think -- this
platform is one case where a number of the AlphaServer 300 articles
present do not include the `AlphaServer 300' keyword, and are thus
visible only on a title search...)
