    Hi,

A customer wanted to run a convert/fdl command. His system disk
is quite full but still enough to store that output. When he runs the
command, he gets a "error write sys$sysroot:[sysmgr]convwork.tmp" &
another error message regarding device full.

Is there a way to locate the temp to another disk so that the command
    can be executed.

    Thanks,
    SMF

| : Is there a way to locate the temp to another disk so that the command : can be executed. Sure. Point the customer at the CONVERT documentation in the _OpenVMS Record Management Utilities Reference Manual_, specifically under the /SORT and the /FAST_LOAD qualifiers. | |||||
