239.0. "VMS V5.5-2 SET NOCONTROL=Y is interuptable" by CX3PST::WSC217::SWANK (David) Mon Feb 24 1997 13:24
A customer running VMS V5.5-2 (not patchs or ECOs) on two different clusters
can interupt any command after issuing the SET NOCONTROL=Y command. Even
accounts with the DISCTLY flag set can have the login's exection of SYLOGIN and
LOGIN.COM interupted. I've tested this on the CSC system FALSTF and get normal
non-interuptable behaviour.
Any ideas what the root cause may be on the customer's systems?
\Thanks, David
