There's probably a corruption in the PCSI database, or one of the
herd of PCSI files got deleted.
Check over in EVMS::SPIA for previous reports and for suggestions.

| | Steve, you were right...had customer do a PRODUCT SHOW PRODUCT on the 6.1 system
disk and we had a problem with the databases...I would have thought we could
have gotten a better error message or do some type of checking before the
upgrade begins to make sure the database integrity is secure..

PCSI (and related) have been known to crash when an unexpected
condition arises -- and when these things "take a header", the
results can be both unusual and quite noteworthy. :-) :-) :-)

The V7.1 and later `releases' of PCSI are rather improved -- I do
not know if there is an update kit for PCSI available (yet), but
it's definitely worth checking around for...
