    Tone,

It's nice to see you are upto date on things. The series has started and
England are already one up thanks to Surrey pairing Alec Stewart and
Graham Thorpe. Just for information England won the 1966 World Cup
    (in Football that is).

    Cheers

| | England now 2-0 up, thanks mainly to some very silly rules regarding
rain-shortened matches. Still, England have been on the short end of
this one before so it's nice to benefit for a change.

    Cheers,

| | Farcical ruling on this game. England were gifted the game by a gimp
    rule.

After amassing 253 New Zealand deserved better.

But what about the umpires!! One did an impression of Frank Drebin from
Naked Gun (the baseball scene) and the other gave Alec Stewart out LBW
to a delivery that Devon Malcolm would have been ashamed of.

    Shocking!

In the third of the one-day games, the Kiwis made 237; last I heard,
England were struggling at 130-ish for 5.

| | 3rd One day Match was tied !!!
NZ 237 all out 2 balls to spare
    Eng 237 for 8 of 50 overs
How can this be a tie England should win by loosing less wickets ??

| | England may have lost fewer wickets but NZ had the better run rate!
Maybe NZ should be declared winners ;^)

Anyway, sounds like a fix to me to keep interest going for the 4th
    one-day match.

    Cheers,
    Brian
